About

You did the work.
The body didn't get the message.

I'm Ixel Madrigal — a somatic guide for the people who've read the books, done the therapy, and still feel the pattern run. Here's how I found this work, and why I can take you where you're going.

"You've tried everything. The pattern still runs."

You know the pattern. The over-giving until you collapse. The shutting down the moment someone needs more than you have left. You've done the therapy. You can narrate the whole thing — origin, trigger, aftermath — in real time, while it's happening.

And it happens anyway.

That's not weak effort. It's the wrong address. You've been working on your mind. The pattern was never there.

It lives lower. In the chest that tightens before you've decided to panic. In the hands that go cold before you've decided to leave. You cannot think your way out of a body that has already decided. You have to move through it — and almost no one has shown you how.

That's what I built Sagrada to do. Not therapy. Not another framework to understand yourself with. A way to take what you already know and finally get it into the body that has to live it.

Insight changes understanding. Somatic healing changes the pattern.

And what changes here doesn't end with you. What you stop carrying, the next person never has to pick up.

The Work Behind the Work

I'm Ixel Madrigal. I came to this by loss, not by choice.

For a decade I was a filmmaker, telling other people's stories through a lens. Then my hero died — suddenly — and grief took apart every version of myself I had built to stay safe. I couldn't think my way through it. I had to go into the body. That's where Sagrada was born.

A decade of somatic study later, one truth has held: healing is not a solo project. It happens in the body, in relationship, and it ripples outward — to your family, your work, and everyone who comes after you. I named this work Sagrada — sacred — for the ground it stands on, and for the lineage I come from.

SAGRADA Integration is the practice of Ixel Madrigal, a somatic guide and ICF-certified, trauma-informed coach with a decade of somatic training. It exists for people who have done years of therapy and self-work and still watch their patterns run — because the pattern doesn't live in the mind that understands it; it lives in the nervous system. The work spans Sage, a daily somatic practice app, through Story Medicine™, the flagship one-to-one container. All sessions are virtual, worldwide.

What I Believe

The philosophy behind this work

  • The state of your nervous system is not a personal problem to solve. It is a gift you give to the world.
  • Change happens at the nervous system level, not the cognitive level.
  • Your body knows the truth your mind is trying to rationalize.
  • You're not broken — you're in transition.
  • How you are being is your legacy.
  • Your embodiment is activism. Your coherence is a political act.
  • The world needs your presence. Your truth. Your aliveness. Your autonomy.

That's what we do here.
